Steel reinforced collar provides enhanced durability when dropped on the chuck. Durashield housing is constructed to withstand tough jobsite conditions. A hammer on/off ring easily turns hammer on and off without changing the clutch setting. Easily accessible brushes for quick maintenance with minimal down time. Ratcheting single sleeve 1/2 In. chuck with carbide tipped jaws have stronger bit retention.
