The Bosch VF120H Pleated HEPA Filter pairs with the either the VAC090A or VAC140A dust extractor with auto filter cleaning to help move users toward compliancy with the OSHA respirable crystalline silica dust regulation. The VF120H captures 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns and larger, and when installed in a Bosch HEPA ready VAC series dust extractor, the filter/dust extractor unit has been independently tested to meet the EPA definition of a HEPA vacuum. This filter can be used for EPA lead-related Renovations Repair and Painting (RRP) rule compliant applications. The VF120H filter and dust extractor unit is a critical component in the end-to-end Bosch PRO GUARD™ Protection System "“ along with the right tool, accessory, attachment, connections and respirator. The use of a fleece filter bag is highly recommended when using VF120H. The filter bag may help prevent the HEPA filter from being directly exposed to abrasive materials and sharp objects that can be collected during normal use of a dust extractor. The VF120H is for use in dry applications only.

- Fleece bag recommended – use with VB140F Fleece filter bag is recommended when this HEPA filter is used with the automatic filter cleaning or semi-automatic filter cleaning to help protect the filter and maximize air flow

- EPA compliance – The combination of the filter with the VAC090A or VAC140A dust extractor have been independently tested to verify that they meet the EPA definition of a HEPA vacuum related to the EPA lead-related Renovations Repair and Painting (RRP) rule
- Designed for dry-vacuuming only – the VF120H is not intended for wet-vac use and will be damaged by wet-vacuuming; Bosch offers the VF110 Polyester Filter for wet-vac applications
